Not all of us have access to the data we need. For some, it’s a rarity, for others it’s non-existent and often, it’s those people who could use it the most. People like the seniors, who have been more isolated during the pandemic and rely on technology to stay connected with loved ones or even get food delivered.
Our challenge is to get existing GOMO Customers/ Potential Customers to perceive GOMO as a socially-conscious brand by building awareness about GOMO’s new Data Donation feature
We created a series of Comics and IG Post engagement questions to get the GOMO Fam thinking in a more selfless ways.
A video that encourages the GOMO Fam to push a button for the ones that matter by playing up the power of a button. We show buttons in different scenarios and hone in on the reality of the data-deprived seniors to further build empathy before we introduce the data donation buttons to call for help.
We produced an infographic animation to show HOW the push of a button helps the ones that matter.
We also engaged influencers within our GOMO fam to help spread the word and amplify this initiative out.
To close the loop on our initiative, GOMO also held an on-site event at NTUC health where we met and gifted the donated data to the seniors in need. Singtel volunteers also came down to help them get all set-up on their devices to start enjoying their data! We also did up a microsite in the GOMO page to always remind our Kidults to donate their data.
